Hot school lunches are supplied fresh and hot each day by Avon Valley College. Children in all school years from Reception through to Year 2 will have their lunch fully funded through the Government’s Universal Free School Meals Scheme. However, a charge of £2.30 per meal is made to those children wishing to have a school lunch in Years 3 to 6.
If your child does not wish to have a bought school lunch, please ensure you have provided your child with a healthy packed lunch. Some suggestions for healthy packed lunches can be found on the Children’s Food Trust or BBC Good Food websites – see link below.
Please note, we currently have children with severe allergies in school and have committed to being a ‘nut free’ environment. With this in mind we would appreciate your support when preparing your child’s lunch.
School lunch orders can be made for the whole term or on a weekly basis, orders need to be made and paid for the Wednesday before the lunches are due to start. To view our latest menu please click on the link below:
Payment for School Lunch can now be made online via SchoolMoney.co.uk. A text or email message will be sent out to you informing you of any payments that need to be paid. Payments can then be made online or by debit card in the office. Please see our information letter below:
